Ashley Hill is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, TEDx speaker, and Founder and Executive Director of Magdalena’s Daughters, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing human trafficking among foster youth and vulnerable young people. Drawing from years of experience working with youth in foster care and group homes, Ashley has become a recognized advocate for prevention-focused solutions that address vulnerability before exploitation occurs. Her TEDx Talk, “How to Keep Our Kids Safe from Hidden Dangers,” has reached more than 1.3 million viewers worldwide, helping elevate her message that “connection is protection.”
Through Magdalena’s Daughters, Ashley developed the RAISE Framework (Recognize, Assist, Inform, Support, and Empower) and leads innovative initiatives focused on prevention education, youth empowerment, mental health, workforce development, and community support. She is also the visionary behind RAISE the Village, an ambitious initiative to create a first-of-its-kind residential model designed to provide foster youth with safety, belonging, opportunity, and long-term support before they become vulnerable to trafficking. As a nonprofit leader, therapist, speaker, and mother of two boys, Ashley is committed to building a movement that transforms how communities protect and empower vulnerable youth across the nation.
