Barbara Edelston Peterson is an author, motivational speaker, sports psychologist, CEO, and world-class athlete. She holds dual master’s degrees in Clinical Psychology and Eastern Philosophy. She is the author of six books, including Kvell – A Word You Should Know (2025), In My World (2025), A Whole Person Makes the Whole World Better (2023), and A Whole Athlete Makes the Whole World Better (2023).

Barbara is a 10-time World Champion triathlete (XTERRA/ITU) and the founder of the Whole Champion Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting awareness, responsibility, and activism in education and sport. She has two grown daughters and lives in Santa Barbara.
