Monica Lovato, MSN, RN, is a two-time World Boxing Champion, registered nurse, entrepreneur, and healthcare leader dedicated to transforming the way families experience senior care. With more than 25 years of medical experience, she is the founder and owner of Casita Senior Living and co-founder of Casita Home Healthcare, where she has built a culture centered on dignity, compassion, and treating every resident like family. She also serves as Vice Chair of the New Mexico Athletic Commission, continuing her commitment to leadership and service within her community. From the boxing ring to the bedside and the boardroom, Monica has built her career on one belief: strength may win championships, but compassion builds legacies.
Raised in Española, New Mexico, Monica credits her parents with teaching her the values that have shaped both her life and her businesses: hard work, humility, kindness, and always doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. Today, her mission extends far beyond healthcare. She is passionate about helping families find peace during difficult transitions, mentoring caregivers to lead with heart, and inspiring others to build lives and businesses driven by purpose rather than recognition. She believes the greatest measure of success is not what people accomplish for themselves, but the hope they give others, the dignity they protect, and the lives they change.
